African Milk Tree in Terracotta Pot

Tolerant, striking and exotic, these spiky succulents are the perfect feature piece for your room. Relatively easy to care for and super low-maintenance, these beautiful plants are very rewarding.

In general the African Milk Tree (Euphorbia Trigona) likes bright, indirect sunlight so a south facing window will work well for it indoors.

This drought-tolerant plant enjoys a dry climate in the wild, and can tolerate fairly hot temperatures, but hates the cold. An over-humid atmosphere can increase the risk of fungus and pests.

*The plant should be kept well out of the reach of small children and pets as all parts of the plant are toxic if ingested. As with many other species of euphorbia, the latex from the plant is poisonous and can cause nasty skin irritations. When manhandling or moving the plant, it is best to wear gloves to avoid the milky white sap that gives the plant its name irritating your skin.
